On Friday night, I had a great discussion with Col. Shawn Smith (USAF, Ret.) on Badlands Media’s Why We Vote.
Colonel Smith and I examined the claims in the Colorado County Clerks Association’s recent, unsigned “communication “report” about the Mesa County election reports. Recycled talking points — and some new ones — false claims, and technical inaccuracies fill the pages of this obvious strategic communications product. This is a rerun for Shawn and me. The CCCA did the same in 2022 to the general assembly, and we compare the claims over the years.
From the “trusted build” to lab accreditations to the ever moving goal posts on Wi-Fi, we discussed how election integrity — verifiably accurate elections where the outcome is the will of the (eligible) people — have been obscured by propaganda and misinformation.
We also discussed Liberty Vote’s rebrand of Dominion — for public trust, allegedly — and what it could mean for 2026.
