Columnist Brendan O’Neill writes at The Daily Telegraph:
Imagine if in 1945 hundreds of Brits christened their newborn sons Adolf. That might have rattled us as a nation, right?
I feel similarly about the news that, last year, 583 baby boys in the UK were given the name Yahya.
Yes, hundreds of families saw fit to bestow on their little ones the name shared by the one-time leader of Hamas and the architect of the worst mass murder of Jews since Adolf’s days – Yahya Sinwar.
The Top 100 Boys’ Names of 2024 were released this week, and Yahya has really blown up.
It reportedly enjoyed a larger spike in popularity than any other male name. It leapt a staggering 33 places up the rankings to become the 93rd most popular boy’s name.
Maybe a few of these little bouncing baby Britons are children of woke ex-Anglicans baptizing their boys in fonts full of stagnant White Guilt. But it’s likely that most of the freshly minted Yahyas on Albion’s shores are children of Muslims, either immigrants or children of immigrants. In one generation, Great Britain’s elites have imported the fever dreams and ancient hatreds of Gaza and Damascus into their once-peaceful country, along with hordes of Pakistani men who think that girls not chaperoned by their families are fair game for rape.
What’s going on in Britain? Gad Saad offers an insight:
“In Egypt, Coptic Christians were the majority. Now they constitute 10% of Egypt (Syria, Lebanon, Iraq, etc). No ideology has conquered and colonized as much as Islam has. When (Islam) conquers you, (it) gives you three choices: convert, or die, or live as dhimmi.”

But remember: The biggest problem in Britain is Islamophobia, as the country’s elites repeat in unison like the sheep in Orwell’s Animal Farm bleating “Four legs good, two legs bad.”
Supreme Court to Decide if Race-Based Voting Schemes Are Constitutional
Speaking of governments that punish the majority population in the name of collectivist racial guilt, the U.S. Congress for decades has been skewed toward the Democrats by court decisions demanding “minority representation.” Of course, that doesn’t mean the significant Republican minorities in states such as Massachusetts and California deserve to win proportionate seats in the U.S. House. Democrats are allowed to disenfranchise those kinds of voters via gerrymandering. But previous court decisions subject Republican efforts to gain electoral advantage to strict scrutiny if they happen to diminish the quota of guaranteed non-white lawmakers.
That scam may be at its end, LifeZette reports:
The U.S. Supreme Court has indicated it may take up Louisiana v. Callais, a case challenging the use of race-based redistricting in congressional maps.
The outcome could carry major nationwide implications, including the possibility of redrawing dozens of House districts and shifting the political landscape ahead of the 2026 midterm elections.
On Friday, the Court invited the U.S. Solicitor General to weigh in on the case, a move that legal experts say often signals serious interest in granting review.
At the center of the case is whether Section 2 of the Voting Rights Act permits the race-conscious creation of congressional districts — a practice commonly used to ensure that racial minority populations can elect candidates of their choice.
What would the real-world implications be of voting law becoming race-neutral again?
I cannot stress to you enough how earth-shattering it would be for the Supreme Court to strike down Section 2 of the Voting Rights Act.

Texans Could Be Re-Enfranchised by New Electoral Map
Meanwhile, Texas is redrawing electoral lines in a fashion that seems likely to produce five new GOP seats in Congress, better representing actual Texas values — and endangering the seats of trash-talking leftist Rep. Jasmine Crockett and State of the Union heckler Rep. Al Greene. Texas Scorecard reports:
Following a first round of public hearings on mid-census congressional redistricting, Republican lawmakers have proposed new district maps that could increase the number of GOP-held U.S. House seats in Texas by five.
House Bill 4, filed Wednesday by Republican State Rep. Todd Hunter of Corpus Christi, includes a map with five new districts that President Donald Trump would have carried by at least 10 points in the 2024 election–including two Hispanic-majority districts in South Texas….
If the new map is adopted, Republicans could win 30 of the state’s 38 U.S. House seats in the 2026 mid-term elections, up from their current 25, helping the party maintain its congressional majority and continue Trump’s America First agenda.
FDA Commissioner: “Who Made COVID? We Made COVID.”
It’s so weird to hear the plain truth spoken by people in power that you have to re-read it several times when it happens just to make sure that your eyes aren’t playing tricks on you. But no, you aren’t hallucinating. Gateway Pundit offers both a transcript and the video of newly appointed FDA Commissioner Dr. Marty Makary saying the quiet part out loud. Makary “directly accused the National Institutes of Health (NIH) of funding the lab responsible for creating the virus that sparked the COVID-19 pandemic and claimed the lives of over 20 million people globally.”
Makary said bluntly:
We’re planning to change our health agencies for a generation or longer. Look at the NIH. When J. Bhattacharya came in there, it was a mess. Fourteen percent of the grants were descriptive studies on health equity. And the NIH had just funded a lab that brewed up a virus that killed 20 million people worldwide. [emphasis added]
Here’s the video. And yes, we’re pretty sure this isn’t wishful thinking footage created by AI:

Before the 2024 election, Dr. Makary might have been cancelled, censored, and stripped of his medical license for admitting such straightforward historical facts. God is indeed good.
Will Senate Republicans Finally Confirm Trump’s Nominees?
We wrote here last week about how Sen. John Thune (R-SD) was scheming to keep President Trump from making recess appointments, even as Democrats and Swamp Republicans stonewall his efforts to get his qualified team confirmed. Senator Mike Lee (R-UT) told The Daily Signal he’s pressing for immediate action on some 140 presidential nominees still awaiting confirmation. Lee said of the nominees:
A bunch of them are ambassadors, a bunch of others are assistant secretaries, undersecretaries of this, that, or the other people running this or that agency or division of an existing department. And then I believe we’ve got a handful of U.S. attorneys in there. Those are really important, especially right now.
Even as I outline this, it reminds me of the fact that the president — whoever is president of the United States at any given time — needs to be in charge of the executive branch.
Now, my copy of the Constitution puts the president of the United States in charge of the executive branch, meaning it literally says the executive power in the U.S. government is vested in the president. You can’t just leave him not in charge.
That’s apparently the plan for some Republicans who are still, almost nine years after the 2016 election, telling themselves that Trump and his supporters are just a phase the GOP will outgrow.
Stephen Miller Says the Obama Coup Was “Literal”
Gateway Pundit points us to a Sunday morning show where a White House advisor tells the cold hard truth about the criminality of the Deep State Trump’s team must confront:
Stephen Miller was on “Sunday Morning Futures” with host Maria Bartiromo to talk about the corruption of the Russia collusion hoax and its impact on the United States.
[Miller said;] “The Russia collusion hoax against President Trump remains the single greatest hoax and the greatest assault on our democracy in the history of this country. There’s no comparison, there is no parallel to anything else. It was a coup, and I’m using that term literally. It was a coup to overthrow a democratically elected government.”
Obama’s Marxist Mindset Fully Documented
In case you’re shocked by the torrent of treasonous behavior, it helps to remember exactly who former President Barack Obama is and what he has always believed. That’s documented here by Lloyd Billingsley at the first-rate magazine Chronicles. Billingsley reminds us:
Obama was tight with Weather Underground terrorist Bill Ayers, and his supporters included “unsavory characters” such as real estate developer Tony Rezko, convicted of fraud and corruption. In his 1996 Illinois state Senate race, Obama “used legal technicalities to challenge the petition signatures of his opponents, including incumbent Alice Palmer, knocking them all off the ballot for an easy Obama victory.” So no surprise that President Obama “weaponized federal agencies to target opponents and protect allies.” …
Obama’s Dreams [of My Father] devotes more than 2,000 words to a happy-drunk poet and counselor the narrator calls “Frank.” Garrow identified “Frank” as Frank Marshall Davis, a Communist Party journalist and pornographer. That posed a problem for young Barry Soetoro, stepson of Lolo Soetoro, the Indonesian student Ann Dunham married in 1965. Garrow contends that “Davis’ Communist background plus his kinky exploits made him politically radioactive,” which was indeed the case.
As Paul Kengor explained in The Communist: Frank Marshall Davis: the Untold Story of Barack Obama’s Mentor, the Stalinist Davis was a de-facto Soviet agent on the FBI’s security index.
Along The Stream…
Later this morning, read an uplifting reflection by Rev. Sammy Rodriguez, based on a recent address he delivered to Gen Z believers. He calls them “a generation crying out for truth, clarity, and authenticity … yearning for identity, committed to integrity, and determined to make an influence rooted in Christ.”
Take time at lunch to watch this provocative video offering the evidence that one of the greatest heroes of the Old Testament may have left behind his literal signature in Egypt.
