The Gateway Pundit website has recently been the target of a series of large, sophisticated cyberattacks originating from thousands of compromised computers around the world. This is the largest, most sophisticated, and ongoing attack in our history.
These attacks are designed to overwhelm our servers with malicious traffic, slow down the website, and prevent readers from accessing our reporting.
Our hosting and security teams have been actively blocking these attacks, adding new protections, and adapting as the attackers change tactics. We expect each new round of defenses to make future attacks far less effective and encourage the attackers to move on.
The source of the attacks has not yet been identified. But the objective is clear: Someone wants to disrupt The Gateway Pundit and make it more difficult for millions of Americans to access our reporting.
They will not succeed.
The Gateway Pundit has faced this kind of assault before. In 2018, we reported that the website had endured a relentless DDoS attack lasting more than a week, including more than 918,000 malicious hits in a single day.
The current assault, however, is larger, more advanced, and constantly evolving.
These attacks are not random. Independent conservative media that refuses to carry water for the Democrat Party, the deep state, or the corporate press remains a constant target.
When The Gateway Pundit reports the truth on election integrity, open borders, lawfare, and the failures of the left, the response is often censorship, de-banking, lawfare, and now sophisticated distributed denial-of-service campaigns designed to knock us offline and frustrate our audience.
We will not be intimidated. We will not be silenced. We will not go away.
