A few weeks ago, we posted the thoughtful review by survivor of Chinese Communist persecution Chenyuan Snider of the new movie One Battle After Another, which is a powerfully crafted recruitment film for Antifa terrorists. It got lavished with praise by Hollywood, and doubtless some unhinged souls were triggered by it to engage in future violence.
A small consolation is that the movie had few viewers and will lose tens of millions of dollars. So did most of the other politicized, weird, or out-of-touch films released this year. In fact, a review of 2025 could be titled One Flop After Another, as Breitbart reports:
Not counting the pandemic year of 2020, the October of 2025 box office earned just $425 million. That’s the worst October showing since 1997.
It’s actually worse than that.
Much worse.
Look at how the real math maths.
In 1998, the October box office grossed $455.6 million. In October of 1997, the gross was just $385.2 million. Okay, bad, right? But…
Those 1997 and 1998 grosses do not account for inflation. This means we are not looking at an apples-to-apples comparison.
If you adjust for inflation, that $455 million jumps to $906 million, and that $385 million is actually $779 million. So…
In reality, this October’s $425 million is an even bigger catastrophe during a year when we were assured the box office would make its big comeback.
The problem, as always, was not a lack of content, but the lack of appeal of that content.
Tron: Ares = flop.

One Hollywood star long renowned for shooting her mouth off about politics seems to have drawn a lesson from her industry slowing circling the drain. In remarks that everyone in Hollywood ought to take to heart, Jennifer Lawrence swore off partisan rants going forward:

Since for all its flaws, entertainment is a crucial American industry employing millions of our fellow citizens, let’s hope that its leaders wise up in time.
FEMA Officials Deliberately Withheld Emergency Aid from Trump, 2nd Amendment Supporters
Is it really a surprise that our progressive elites can’t craft stories we want to watch? Many on the Left literally don’t think that MAGA lives matter. Judicial Watch brings the proof:
Besides its lengthy history of incompetence, the federal agency created by Jimmy Carter to provide the nation with disaster relief singled out conservative victims and withheld aid to survivors who displayed signs and flags the agency’s liberal workforce disagreed with, including those supporting President Trump. The “textbook political discrimination against Americans in crisis” was uncovered by a Department of Homeland Security (DHS) investigation that found throughout the Biden administration the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA)–charged with helping people before, during and after disasters–systemically refused to visit the houses of politically conservative victims.
“For years, FEMA employees under the Biden Administration intentionally delayed much-needed aid to Americans suffering from natural disasters on purely political grounds,” DHS Secretary Kristi Noem confirms. “They deliberately avoided houses displaying support for President Trump and the Second Amendment, illegally collected and stored information about survivors’ political beliefs, and failed to report their malicious behavior.”
The investigation was conducted by the DHS Privacy Office and found that between 2021 and 2024 FEMA employees recorded the political beliefs of affected citizens in agency databases, and that the information was used to bypass or postpone aid to disaster survivors. Investigators determined that the conduct violates the Privacy Act of 1974 and other DHS data-handling rules intended to protect the First Amendments rights of all Americans. Here are some examples included in the report which was made public last week.
An October field note from Florida says, “Trump sign, no contact per leadership.” A September 2021 note in Pennsylvania reads, “…a lot of explicit political flags, posters, etc. ‘F– Joe Biden’ ‘MAGA 2024’ ‘Joe Biden Sucks’ ‘Trump 2024’ We do not recommend anyone visiting this location.” A Louisiana note from 2021 warns, “Homeowner had sign stated…this is trump country.” The prejudice first came to light after Hurricane Milton struck Florida’s Gulf Coast in October 2024, and a whistleblower revealed that FEMA employees were directed to bypass houses displaying political signs supporting then presidential candidate Trump.
So federal employees left Trump supporters to die. But we’re supposed to weep over their temporary furloughs during the government shutdown, imposed by Democrats who insist on providing billions in Medicaid to illegal aliens — as citizens’ insurance premiums skyrocket.
That’s some pretty innovative politics, right there.

Remember when we said that California Governor Gavin Newsom was painting a target on Trump aide Stephen Miller by labeling him a “fascist”? This was just before leftists carpeted the streets around Miller’s home with “Wanted” posters that gave the address where he lived with his wife and children, and also before Miller and several other key Trump aides had to move to military bases for their own safety.
Yeah, the spirited exchange of views among U.S. citizens is going really well. But things are even worse in Europe, where the Left is even more unhinged, and has millions of Muslim colonists on its side.
