Jeff Epstein? The New York Physician? Jasmine Crockett Flames Republicans For Taking Cash From Normal Americans ‘Named Jeffrey Epstein.’

Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D., Texas) blasted Republicans for taking money from “somebody named Jeffrey Epstein”—except she called out lawmakers who merely accepted donations from people who share the same name and never took donations from the convicted pedophile, financial records show.

“Folks who also took money from somebody named Jeffrey Epstein, as I had my team dig in very quickly: Mitt Romney, the NRCC, Lee Zeldin, George Bush, WinRed, McCain-Palin, Rick Lazio. I just want to be clear. If this is the standard that we’re going to make, just know we’re going to expose it all,” Crockett said Tuesday during a House floor speech. “Just know that the FEC filings, they are available for everybody to review.”

But a Washington Free Beacon review of those filings found that any donations to active Republican politicians were not from the alleged sex trafficker—they stemmed from a slew of Jeffrey Epsteins, including a New York physician, a stockbroker from Pennsylvania, and a chief financial officer with a New Jersey alcohol company.

“Yes, Crockett, a physician named Dr. Jeffrey Epstein (who is a totally different person than the other Jeffrey Epstein) donated to a prior campaign of mine,” Zeldin, who heads the EPA, wrote Tuesday.

“NO FREAKIN RELATION YOU GENIUS!!!” he added, breaking each word using clapping emojis.

The $1,000 Dr. Jeffrey Epstein contributed to Zeldin’s 2020 congressional campaign, in fact, came in after Epstein’s 2019 death. So did the $500 attributed to the alcohol executive, who denied making any such donation, telling the Free Beacon it’s possible the owner used a company card with his name on it.

Any donations through WinRed, which launched a month before Epstein’s July 2019 arrest, also only came in after the alleged sex trafficker died in prison.

The physician was also behind contributions to the National Republican Congressional Committee and Mitt Romney’s 2012 presidential campaign. He donated to McCain’s 2008 presidential bid as well, as did the Pennsylvania stockbroker, who has a different middle name than the sex offender.

By Crockett’s logic, “somebody named Jeffrey Epstein” also donated to Democratic causes, including more than $2,000 to Kamala Harris’s 2024 presidential campaign and $100 to Sherrod Brown’s failed reelection campaign that same year. In 2022, a Jeffrey Epstein gave $100 to Georgia Sen. Raphael Warnock and another $50 to the state’s senior senator, Jon Ossoff.

Crockett did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
