Nevada is examining a very efficient system to handcount the Midterms for Federal Offices.

The system under study has basically been successfully used in Italy for many years, and has an additional level of simplicity proposed for it, thanks to the creativity of the author of  “The Albert Plan to Restore Election Integrity” who suggests grouping ballots by binder clip in stacks of 20, 100 etc.  More about that later, complete with photographs.

Nevada has a great deal of recent Handcount experience resulting from a simple ballot Caucus vote of about a year ago when President Trump was selected over Nikki Haley.  President Trump actually received approximately 97% of the vote, and almost comically, Nikki Haley lost to ‘None Of The Above’.

That ballot was similar in simplicity to what is being proposed here, with that Caucus being successfully executed due to the vision of the Nevada RNC Chair Michael McDonald, who is also the Vice Chair of the RNC’s Western Region.  Upon mixing a few Caucus ‘lessons learned’ in combination with a few enhancements, this method will be ready to go in Nevada if selected.  It can also easily be the system of choice to employ in every county in all 50 states due to its simplicity.  This of course will depend upon their willingness to participate in the simplest and most honest election system possible.

By largely eliminating the cesspool of early voting, late counting, mailed ballots, corrupt voter rolls, zero chain of custody Dropboxes, electronic election algorithmic manipulation (as discovered by Tina Peters, who sits in prison for 9 years for discovering), this system for the Federal Offices (in Nevada, Congressional Districts 1-4) can make Nevada the flagship state to take this very important leap forward.

Requiring less than $100 of materials per precinct (clear plastic ballot box, binder clips), in addition to the low cost of the simple printed ballots (nothing fancy required, and probably 1/2 sheet of paper is adequate), the system is ready to go.  Also, because we’re only counting the Federal offices, the precincts can remain at regular size (roughly up to around 5000 people typically).

To vet voters as best as possible, they will be required to show their voter registration card which will be stamped once presented so it can’t be reused,  here’s a sample:

They will also need to show their Real ID, as well as certify under perjury they are who they say they are etc.  This process will thin out most scammers.  Also keep in mind that because we know the typical voting percentages per precinct, any significant deviation from that number will be immediately suspect.  We’re also exploring a means to simultaneously photograph the voter along with their ID to further discourage fraud, as well as recording a fingerprint for each voter.  With this system, Voter Rolls aren’t necessary for conducting the election, as they are notorious for their strategic inflation and deflation fraud, containing dead voters etc.

This system puts it on the individual voter to prove their eligibility, much like it is for a traveler to obtain their own travel passport.  In essence, the voter card and their Real ID is a simple stop-gap measure to eliminate the wholesale fraud induced by nameless faceless voting with anonymous dropboxes etc.

By the way, through President Trump’s Executive Order, this election will likely only occur on one day, and will be counted that evening after the polls close.  The approximate counting rate for this simple ballot is around 1000 ballots/hour.  So, if 2 or 3 people are counting, sorting and piling the ballots, it’s all done in around 2 hours or less.

With an intention to be ready for rollout in just a couple of months, the system is poised to count the all-important upcoming Midterm Federal Elections, which in Nevada will only feature the House of Representatives for its four Districts as mentioned previously, since no Senate races are occurring in Nevada in 2026.  The ballot will be extremely simple, with only one race (in each of its 4 districts), and the multiple candidates on the single ballot vying for that particular district.  In States where Senate races are conducted, it will be the exact same procedure to manage and count.

Let’s say that in a particular District just 2 candidates are running.  Upon emptying out the clear plastic ballot box (each box in a precinct or group of precincts if they are small), 2 piles are created from those votes.  Obviously from sight, Candidate 1 has the tallest stack.  The magic however comes in when the ballots are binder clipped in stacks of 20, and then 5 stacks of 20 are grouped with a large binder clip that secures all 100.

Next, a photo is taken of all the ballot stacks with the precinct Captain in it for authentication.  That photo and the tallies are then sent over to the County central count station for tabulation.  Nothing to transport that can lose chain of custody.  Simple, easy, transparent and secure.

Then, not only do you have stacks of relative height for each candidate, you have a very visual way of counting how many are in a stack of ballots for each candidate.  Keep in mind that the small clips are grouping 20 ballots, and the large clip is grouping 100.  Here’s a test for you to see if you can instantly count the stack of ballots just from a little photo:
