The DOJ official who approved the outrageous $2 million settlement to Trump-hating FBI officials Peter Strzok and Lisa Page has been unmasked.

Left-wing activist and former Deputy Assistant Attorney General Brian Netter signed off on the payout to Strzok and Page after the two participated in the Trump-Russia hoax.

Brian Netter is now working with crooked Clinton lawyer Marc Elias as the legal director at Democracy Forward.

Recall that Democracy Forward is behind the more than 100 lawsuits against President Trump and election related court battles.

“[W]e have identified Brian Netter, Deputy Assistant Attorney General as the individual that approved the settlement agreements,” a DOJ official told the Center to Advance Security in America, which had filed a Freedom of Information Act request in 2024, when the payouts were publicly announced. Netter was the deputy assistant attorney general for the Federal Programs Branch during the term of President Joe Biden.

Netter currently serves as the legal director at Democracy Forward, a Democrat Party-affiliated group launched in 2017 to fight President Trump with lawfare. The group brags that it took Trump to court more than 100 times in his first term in office. It has continued its use of the courts to win political battles into his second term in office. “Liberal Legal Group Positions Itself as a Top Trump Administration Foe,” touted The New York Times last November.

Last year, Kash Patel exposed the ‘$2 million’ payout that Strzok and Page received from the Department of Justice (DOJ) as part of a settlement related to the improper disclosure of their text messages.

On July 30, 2024, former FBI agent Peter Strzok and former FBI attorney Lisa Page, whose communications about Trump on their government phones were revealed as part of the investigation into the now-discredited allegations that the 2016 Trump campaign was linked to Russia, will split a $2 million payday.

Strzok will get $1.2 million, and Page will receive $800,000.

These texts, which have become infamous, revealed their personal disdain for Trump and included references to an “insurance policy” aimed at preventing his presidency, a plot Patel has labeled as nothing short of a coup attempt.

“[Do] you know what Strzok and Page received from the Department of Justice? What? A [$2 million] payout to settle a lawsuit that Strzok and Page brought for the improper disclosure of their personal text messages on FBI phones. And the DOJ just rewarded them,” Kash Patel said.
