HUGE: Evidence uncovered in Tina Peters case from expert witness outlines and describes how election systems are used to manipulate election results.
A couple of weeks ago, Tina Peters penned a letter to President Trump as her birthday on 9-11 approached. Tina Peters turned 70 in prison. In the note Tina wrote:
One week from today on September 11th, I will be 70 years old. Never in my life of 35 years of marriage, a business owner for 32, home schooling my two children, with a Navy SEAL son and a marine husband, did I ever imagine I would end up in prison for following the law and doing what was right.
Tina was sentenced to 9 years in prison in a Colorado state court which prevents President Trump from pardoning her. There were multiple crimes she was accused of committing but most observers don’t believe she committed any crimes. Most people knowledgeable in her case believe she was performing her job and was arrested for doing just that. Tina backed up her county’s election files after the 2020 election, which was her job, both state and federal statutes mandate backing up all election files for a period of 2 years (or close to that) after an election. Tina was imprisoned for doing that.
When Tina compared the results of her county’s election files from her backup to the results on her county’s system after work was performed on her systems, Tina identified material differences in the results. They should have been exactly the same and they were not.
Late last night, three documents were released related to the Tina Peters case. These documents are from an interview under oath of a former Venezuelan election executive from Smartmatic. His testimony is riveting as he outlines how election machines used in Venezuela and the United States are used to manipulate election results.
This is huge.
The summary in the first document reports the following:
The witness drew a direct connection between Smartmatic’s Venezuelan election rigging and the vulnerabilities found in Mesa County’s Dominion forensic images. He testified that Dominion’s system architecture shares core elements with Smartmatic, enabling manipulation through the same methods: deliberately small log files, accessible source code, SAES data utility style tools, and remote “man-in-the-middle” connections. He concluded that Dominion systems, built with Chinese components in a voting system designed by former Smartmatic engineers, are not secure or auditable in U.S. elections.

Here is the morning session of the interview and testimony. In this session the expert witness shares that his life is in danger and he shared the following:
The electoral systems of the United States can be manipulated by foreign agents or third parties.
The witness worked in Venezuelan elections and was the country’s national coordinator for data. He saw how elections can be manipulated and was responsible for configuring election equipment in his country.

We need to end using election systems in US elections. They are not secure, auditable and can be manipulated by US and foreign actors.
